VTG 1940s Chinese Soap Stone Chess Set Hand Carved Ceramic Tiles 18" Wood Board.
Condition is Pre-owned
Folding wooden Board has scratches and wear, not perfect
Elastic in drawers are stretched from age.
Set is complete. But two pieces have a small broken part.
One Knight has its horse leg chipped
One bishop has a small tip of its leaf fan chipped( SEE PHOTOS)
Overall these are in very good to excellent condition on the pieces, especially for the age.
The tile on the Board is in Excellent Condition
Again, the outside of the folding board has scratches and flaws.
Interior is beautiful
This is not a perfect set and has flaws, but is still a beautiful piece.
