    The set is discounted because it has minor defects, the queens are not a perfect match for the set (see pictures) and the board has imperfections as seen in the last picture.
    Still it is an excellent tournament chess set that includes number 6 wooden pieces boasting a 3.75 inch king. Pieces are made in Poland, display exquisite workmanship, and have felted bottoms. The chessmen weigh 25 ounces. The mousepad, black and white, roll-up board is 20 X 20 inches and has algebraic notations. The board is made in China.
